It's Habit-Forming
Well. The whole week leading up to opening night was so tiring. But the opening night couldn't have been better in my opinion. The scene where i get high was awesome. people kept telling me that that was there favorite part! It was sad that my buddy Jessica who plays Sister Robert Anne was so sick with a terrible cold but she still had to sing, dance, act and the whole shebang. She didn't enjoy much of it but at least she's getting better for our shows next week. I started getting it too. But i think i might have the upper hand on it. Muahahahahaha! But we need more people to be coming to this or we won't get enough money to pay for this production and then there will be trouble. So if anyone who reads this can go, PLEASE DO! Next Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. It is so funny we have people actually crying! :)

So Far So Good
The Pianist today at practice was amazing! The show is finally comming together. My grandma may not be able to make my opening show though because of chemotherepy. But her heath needs to come first. The movie seems to be comming along well. So right now things are going pretty well. 10 days till opening night!!!

The Sprain and The Show
Well... On November 8th during the Veteran's Day program that I sang in and did lights for, I was coming down the stairs in the light booth and only half the stairs are lit, I missed a step and sprained my ankle. It was either my ankle or a cracked head. So I went on with the show pretending really hard not to be hurt. Well I went to the doctor after a few days and it turns out when i sprained my ankle a tendon by the ankle bone came loose (which sounds worse than it is). So I am in an ankle brace for just a little longer. Which is good because "Nunsense" opens on the 29th! So I can't be hurt. I'm Reverend Mother after all. I'm so excited to do this show. It's going to be amazing!

Update
About two weeks ago, I got really sick again. But this time it was Pneumonia! I had to have a decongestant and an inhaler and finally got my lung capacity back about Wednesday of last week.
On a brighter note, Nunsense practice is going pretty well. But I still have a lot of work to do before I'm a really good Reverend Mother! A girl at school who sews costumes and some of her own clothes is going to make a few of our Habits and the rest we will rent. I also went to see the play "Long Days Journey into Night". It was a good play. Very powerful. Those actors were absolutely wonderful.

Re-shoots
I'm a Senior now! Today we did the re-shoot of the prairie scenes that we had done back in about April. It went well I thought. Tomorrow is the cabin scenes. That, to me is the hardest scene I've done. It has so many different emotions and movements and directions that it's just something you gotta feel and do correctly to the best of your ability. But I've been having fun.

The Mantis
Today, Dad and I went to a picnic and a Preying Mantis landed on the arm of the chair. I think they are neat creatures and have recently found info saying that they are endangered and killing one gives you a fine is true and equal info saying it's just a rumor. I wouldn't kill the little creatures anyways. But endangered or not, they're still cool.

iPhones
There is a lot of buzz about those iPhones. People getting bills the size of books. I just can't believe that so many people can afford them. I can't, that's for sure. But it is ridiculous all the paper being wasted when all people want to know is how much they owe.
On a different note, filming is starting up again! We will be shooting the beginning of the film and then re-shooting the whole Sprague outdoor scene again. But it'll be fun. Oh and my sick cat is fine. Just thought I should update the cat situation.

My Pet Worries
I love my pets. The thing is, is right now I have a cat that is sick. I think he will be able to hang in there till I can afford to take him to the vet Tuesday. It's terrible when a pet, your loving family member, worries you so. I love him and hope the vet can help.

The Spiders
I went swimming for hours today. When I got home I watered and pruned the raspberry bushes. You never know how many terrifying spiders there are in there till you prune. It was like I was being attacked because of all the spiders I saw today. Also when I was opening the back door there was a spider barely a foot away the size of of my eye. I was terrified and couldn't get in the house until dad moved it. If I had a Bogart from Harry Potter it would most likely be a spider. Aracniphobic here!

Rodeo
Dad and I went to the Cheney Rodeo today. It was so much fun. We saw the normal stuff of guys riding bucking bulls and broncos, cattle roping, steer wrestling and barrel racing. My favorite is barrel racing because I have practiced that with my friend with her horses. I'm a pretty decent rider. It was a good day.

Vacation
I'll tell you right now, the trip didn't go quite as planned but it was even better. Sorry it's so long.
On day one, we were going to go straight to Billings, Montana. That didn't happen. Instead we stopped in Fairmont and swam and Tuesday we went to Lewis and Clark Caverns which wasn't planned. Then we spent the night at Billings and when we woke up, we went to see the Battle of Little Big Horn or Custer's' Last Stand if you will. We then headed for Devil's Tower. Mind you the battle field and Devil's tower were also unscheduled. The Devil's Tower campground was cool because there was a community campfire and there were about eight families including us at the fire and all were from a different state. On the 21st, we went to see Devil's Tower and it was the first time ever I saw a live Prairie Dog and a whole colony at that! They are adorable!!
That Friday, Dad and I saw Mount Rushmore. It was neat but it was a lot smaller than I thought it would be. We also saw the ceremonial lighting of it that night. Custer National Forest was a bust. The animals were forced to stay in one area instead of roaming and there weren't many animals to begin with. Don't go there. Then Dad had this "Great" idea to see the Badlands right now instead of the next day. We took a long road instead of the road to the national park and we literally thought we would die of being cooked to death. It was 120F out side with little water with us, and no one else on the road if we broke down! There was no water or trees as far as the eye could see. I will never complain of 100 degree weather again!!!!! And Whatever you do, don't go to the Crazy Horse Memorial. I have never seen a place so racist against white people in my life. They are attempting to make a statue in the cliff like Rushmore with this Crazy Horse guy and after 57 years you still can't tell what it is except the destruction of a mountain because it is still barely started. I HATED that place.
We finished out trip in Yellowstone were I saw my first Raven and Ground Squirrel. We saw thousands of Bison, some Elk, a Black Bear, Pelicans, Swans, and more. It was pretty cool, but after all that walking in four days in Yellowstone, I was almost as tired as when I was filming transcontinental in Sprague. Almost.

End of School
Yesterday was the last day of school. I'm officially a Senior! I should update everyone now. Two weeks ago for our senior play, it didn't turn out well. But we did learn that we are awesome together as actors when everything goes wrong. On opening night one of our main characters threw up so we had to pretend that she wasn't suppose to be in the play anymore. The rest of the show was completely improv but no one noticed. The next day we got someone else to play that character and one hour before the show started another really main character got into a car accident. So that play just wasn't meant to be. I was then in the school talent show so at least I got to preform once more dancing.

Cool Stuff
For my birthday I actually go a new laptop computer! It is so cool. And this weekend I had a rabbit show and my rabbit Harvey got three blue ribbons, two Best of Variety and one Best Opposite Sex ribbons. We then bought a doe Mini Rex Chinchilla so that later we can have baby Mini Rex! Her name is Jill. Since we are going to be expanding the size of our rabbitry we cleaned out and re leveled our animal shed so that once we do some repair work we will have room to put them. I love my bunnies and my new computer.

Big Weekend
This weekend was prom. I went with some friends and we did prom pictures, went to a great dinner, rode the riverfront park carousel and went to the dance. We had a good time. And I had a pretty good birthday yesterday as well.

My Headach
I have this English term paper I have to to write and have a rough draft due by May 9th and I have writer's block that is giving me a headache! I have a headache from other things as well. Like headphones! I just bought a new pair of Ipod headphones. Mind you they are my third pair because my first pair my rabbit chewed them, and the second pair was a terrible make shift set. So I went and bought a really nice pair of headphones, right. Well they got ruined by Purel Handsanitizer in the first 3 hours of owning them! I have no headphones now and I am so frustrated. And I only got my Ipod for my birthday last May 13. I haven't had even the Ipod its self for a year yet. I don't even have the packaging for the damaged headphones anymore so I probably can't take them back. Why ME! Oh well. At least I've been having a blast filming Transcontinental lately. :)

The Best Night
Last night, my dad to me to the Broadway show CATS (which is the second time I've seen it live and own the movie as well). I have to say that this cast was so closely matched to the talent in the movie that is was almost perfection. It is my favorite Broadway play but this was definitely the best performance of CATS I've seen yet. I can't say enough about it! All I can say is that is has been my dream for a little more than two years now, to be on Broadway in CATS someday.
This weekend, I have more filming of Transcontinental and I get to drive the train! Hehe.

My Seattle Trip
Last Thursday through Sunday, our advanced Windbornne choir took our annual Seattle trip tour. We went to Cascade Middle School to do a choir exchange, then we went on a Dinner Cruise and sang on that and went to Pikes Place Market and sang before we shopped. We also got to go to EMP and see their new, very awesome, super cool science fiction museum section. We had a blast. Then yesterday and today I had to retake the math part of the WASL because I didn't pass that section last year. But oh well.
Here is something I thought was pretty cool.
The Citizenship Test: Try this out - educational and fun. 24 out of 30 is Considered a passing grade. Supposedly 96% of all High School seniors FAILED This test and 50% of all individuals over 50 did too! Take the test and be surprised at what we don't know.

Spring Break
This week is spring break and it has been going well. Last night was my last night doing lights for Blue Door Theater. It was fun while it lasted. Today I washed my two dogs (who desperately needed it), colored Easter eggs, and vacuumed in only a few hours. I am Super Woman! I have another Rabbit show to go to tomorrow with my bunny Harvey. I hope he gets another ribbon or two so he can be Grand Champion.

Motivation
Today after school, I was walking my two beagles with my dad and I had realized that for some reason ever since I was tiny and saw Alice in Wonderland, I have not been able to think of any answer for the riddle "Why is a raven like a writing desk?" Then that made me think of my passion for writing books that I some day might want to publish, and I realized that I have had so many great ideas for books. I found that I have started around 5-7 books but not one of them have I written more than one chapter just starting to get to the characters. Then I just seem to stop. Or I don't even get past writing down my idea so I don't forget it. I don't know if that is lack of motivation or if I just lose the story but either way I haven't gotten very far. It's sad really. But if anyone knows an answer to the riddle, feel free to tell me. After 10 years of pondering it, it is starting to get annoying. Obviously I have a lot of time to think about strange things.

The Update
Last Saturday my rabbit got me three more ribbons. A best opposite sex, a 1st and a 2nd, just about like what he usually gets me because he's such a good rabbit. But I'm also on two antibiotics. It seems like when just get over something I get something else but worse. Its strange because I rarely get sick. But I'm doing better now and I hope it stays that way.

Tired
This week has been busy. The Sophomores are doing WASL testing which means our schedules are for shorter classes. But even though they are shorter classes, the teachers are giving us work like it's a normal day. I'm so tired. My rabbit show is Saturday! I hope my rabbit behaves at the show.

The Weekend
This weekend I have been preparing my show rabbit Harvey for a show next weekend. I have clipped his nails and given him a bath. (His first and hopefully his last bath in his life. Rabbits only need to be washed if they got soiled on.) I've taken my dogs for a walk, and taken the stitches out of my kitty.
The weather is finally getting warmer, and when we start filming again we might get to do it on a real, working train! Ron and I will get to learn to drive it if the train owners give us the OK. That would be so cool!!

Barely Making It
Next Thursday our high school musical opens! We will barely be making it but i think we can do it. We have three days of practice and still have to finish choreographing about two and a half songs. Our costumes will get done on Wednesday so yeah we will barley be making it. Today I worked concession stand at ignite theater and saw Ron Ford and Anne Selcoe there in the play. It was good to see them again. And the belly dance show on Friday went better than expected.

Sick
It really sucks! I don't usually get sick but this week I have been the sickest I 've been in a long time. I caught a really bad cold and have been out of school for four days because of it. Out of 48 hours, on Tuesday and Wednesday, I was awake for a total of 5 hours! Can't wait till I get better.

Jounals
I found today that they seem to make a journal for everything. My drama teacher said that I should write about my on screen acting experiences and start with the movie I'm in right now. Well, I thought it would be kind of cool to have a journal with maybe a train on it or even just look old, and not to big and not to small. I found journals for writing down trips, what you eat, journals for musicians, for left handed people, for poets, for drawing, and some with ridiculous pictures on the cover, but nothing affordable that looked old or anything! I guess I'll just have to keep my search going.

Irish Dancers
Last night we went to see the Irish dancers and I realized that I had seen them dance before at a Celtic day at the fairgrounds last summer. And some of the music played I have on my burned CD from my friend. It was awesome. We now have a lot to do this coming week with choreographing the dances for the musical. It's exciting!

The Spirit Game
Last night was our spirit game. We preformed really good. We won the girls game, lost the boys game, and lost the spirit trophy. That sucked. I ache so bad today from the performances yesterday. But tonight I get to go see Irish dancers with some of the other dancers from the musical.

Spirit
Tomorrow is my high schools big spirit game! We are practicing both half time shows all day tomorrow since we get out of school 2 hours early. I'm going to be exhausted tomorrow before the actual game even starts. After we practice for the game, I have musical practice for a few hours, then actually get to go home for about 45 minutes to have a snack. Then go back to school to preform for the game at both half times. I'm pretty excited but not looking forward to the practices. We also finished finals this week. How fun, NOT. But the high light of my week is that on Saturday night, the two teachers directing the musical are taking a select few of the main show girls (including me) to see Irish dancers. That is going to be awesome. I just can't wait to get time to sleep!

The Mess-ups and Suprises
Monday, we preformed one of our half time shows for the school. It was our fourth time preforming and the song we made our skit to was messed up. The band started playing in the middle and didn't tell us, so it was chaos and literally EVERYTHING that could go wrong DID. We were so embarrassed. Anyways I didn't audition for our high school musical because I didn't know how busy I would be, so I found I was good to go and told my drama teacher I could be and extra if she needed me and I have now ended up with a bigger part than the other extras who did audition. I am a one of the main Show Girls and have to learn 6 songs and dance to them while singing and learn a small speaking part. I find this very exciting! The play takes place on a cruise ship in the 1940's. So far in just 4 practices I have had to catch up to everyone else and then some, with learning a Waltz, an Irish Dance, a jazz dance to a song called Sing, sing, sing, and a jazz dance to the song Putin' on the Ritz and learn my vocal part as well. Good thing I'm a quick study. I've learned all this in 4 days and everyone else has been practicing for almost 3 weeks! But it'll be fun!

Busy
On Monday, I went to physical therapy for my wrist and he showed me that there was one stitch that wasn't dissolving and that if it popped out at all I needed to do was pull it out or he would. That is a creepy thought. That night, it popped out just a bit so I grabbed the tweezers and pulled it out. Didn't feel a thing but will never do it again. That was gross. Anyways, it's healing better now.
Today at school we had a two hour practice to get our spirit game skit down with everyone and have costume. It was the first time everyone got together and no one had any clue what they were doing because we just made the whole six minute skit just today to music the band will be playing and we preform for the elementary schools tomorrow to get them to come to the spirit game next week. The theme, Pirates of the Carrabean. I just so happen to be in the mascot outfit dressed like Jack Sparrow as the main character. I think I had to have sweated 10% of my body weight in that thing let alone get a headache from learning the whole thing in two hours for tomorrow. Talk about busy. I may even be taking the place of a show girl in our school musical and I'm two weeks behind. Lots to learn so little time to learn it. What can I say, I amaze myself sometimes. Hehe.

First Blog
Hi People! This is my first blog and I'm excited! This is the first weekend in two weeks I have had time to do anything. Been busy doing a movie called Transcontinental. That train is FREEZING! Wearing that corset is very difficult. But I love my job. Can't wait till we film again.
