My month had its ups and downs. After I got the part of desdemona, I also learned one of my friends, Victor Norman, had and accident and died. My friend Summer came up so we could go to his memorial together. There were to many people there. It was cool. Oh and for the record everyone here is the brief story on how he died so that the rumors can stop. He triped and fell and hit his head. Not long after he started complaining of a headache and was bleeding from his ear. when he finnaly go to the hospital he had blood on the brain and his brain drowned and he died. Anyways, someone is alive today because of him being and organ donor.
As for the rest of the month we have had continual snowstorms out and my car broke down. We have recently gotten it fixed and also Summers flight had been cancelled do to the weather and finally made it home Dec. 22nd. Christmas was very nice, and got many wonderful gifts and spent lots of time with family. I hope everyone had a good christmas!

Desdemona!
We had call backs on Monday and I was there. We were reading parts and dancing and all sorts of fun stuff. Then I totally mastered the death scene for Desdemona between her and Othello and guess what.... I GOT THE PART OF DESDEMONA!!!!!!! I am now the leading lady in "Othello".
We had our first read through together with the cast yesterday and we were dissecting the words and cutting certain lines because they were unnecessary or just repeating and was going to get boring for the audience. Then we would read the translated side of our script through one scene and go back and re read that scene with the Shakespeare side. It was a long, hard but needed ordeal. We only got through Act 1 scene 3 and tomorrow will start with Act 2 scene 1 and do that all over again. Don't get me wrong though. I am still having a blast with this and am really happy I'm a part of this. We open March 5th. I will give more details as time progresses.

Shakespearean Twilight
I have been a busy girl. I am now almost done with reading the second book in the Twilight series and I'll tell you what, the second book is depressing most of the way through. Blah. Anyways, I took my mom to dinner and then we went to see the movie Twilight Saturday evening and it was absolutely amazing in all respects. I want to go see it again! Also I have been auditioning for SFCC's next play Othello and so far I am one of the few to be called back to try for one of the three roles in this play. So far I am one of two favorite choices for Desdemona! Isn't that exciting!!! I have a really powerful cold read today and really mad points their. Lets hope I can keep it up. Crazy to think that I of all people would audition for Shakespeare. :) This will be amazing. Hope everyone has a great Thanksgiving!

Registration
Today was the day to start signing up for winter registration. I sat there for and hour and a half waiting for them to call my name so that I could get help with my schedule because all the classes I want/need were practically at the same time. It took them like five minutes to sort it out and now my schedule is done. YIPPEE! AND I get to sleep in since I won't start class till 9:30 am. Sweetness. Sleep is good, sleep is my friend. I don't get time to do it enough. I do however have to take two P.E. courses to get enough credits to still qualify for financial aid since those classes only earn you one credit. :( But anyways, its looking good and i can relax a bit now. Oh and I have another audition coming up Nov.30 through Dec. 2! YAY!!!!

Wow!
I am reading the book "Twilight" and am in total love with it. It really is amazing. I can't wait till the movie comes out. I really like the guy playing Edward Cullen and know he will be great. I also found found that he has the same birthday as me; May 13. Isn't that sweet! I love it when I find and actor or director I like that has the same birthday as me.

What a Month!
I don't know where October went. Well my play Alice the musical ended october 26th. That day we had huge crowds. It was really good. It was real sad when we all said good-bye to eachother but thats what happens in plays. My college midterms were last week and soon it will be time for the finals. My friend Lydia will be back from Mississippi to visit for Christmas time and I can't wait to see her. My friends and I are well overdue for some friendship hangout time. We've all been so busy that none of us have been able to hang out lately. I will be putting up Alice pictures soon, which I should be getting more of, soon hopefully. Then tomarrow night I will try to post about halloween. Too much to post and not enough time to do it in. Yikes!

Great Weekend
This weekend, we had two shows. The Saturday group was pretty small, but the Sunday group was huge! They joined in with songs and clapping and it gave us the energy to keep going strong. I love fun groups like that. This coming weekend we have four shows, two on Saturday and two on Sunday. we are going to be exhausted by Sunday evening. we get so tired after one show that we are all a bit nervous for two in a row. But I now we can do it. So this week we have no rehearsals so we all can recuperate and let our poor faces rest from the tons of makeup we have to wear. I think this is one of the most fun I've had doing a play and I've been in quite a few.

Opening Day!
Tomarrow is Alice the musicals opening day! It is going to be really fun and can't wait to perform infront of an audience. I also had my first math test today and it was pretty easy. My classes aren't too hard but they give sooooo much homework. I feel i never have time to myself. Tomarrow is my dads birthday as well. So tomarrow is going to be crazy; I have my dad's birthday, opening show, opening cast party and still will find time to sleep! But it will all be fun. I can't wait till tomarrow.

October
I am now slowly starting to settle into college life. I am righting a personal essay right now for English. I'm righting it about my encounter with the dinner plate sized spider in Louisiana. It is really funny in places and definitely gets across my fear and hatred of spiders to my readers. I found this to be a pretty fun essay. Soon I get to try on my costumes for Alice the Musical! I can't wait to see them. I couldn't believe it but my director Maria is not only directing and putting together this show but she also hand made every costume by hand!!! I tell you, she is awesome. I haven't been able to sing this week or most of last week because I found myself a sinus infection. I finally went to the doctor yesterday and she prescribed me antibiotics. Really strong ones too. Not only do I take one pill twice daily for ten days but I may have to take another dose for another ten days to make sure I've kicked the sucker. It's not fun. But i just hope that by opening day next week i will have my voice back and everyone else in the cast gets better as well. I encourage everyone to come to the show. This show will be awesome. I've had fun.

College Update
I have just survived my first week of college. I'll tell you what, nothing could have prepared me for it. I do think that as I get more used to it, it will become more fun and interesting. Classes are unlike anything I've been in before and the learning process is totally different to that of high school. Sadly enough, I was also "fortunate" enough to catch my first cold of the year. Yippy. At the same time as college, I am also balancing my job and going to play practice each week. Alice the musical opens on Oct. 11! It has deffinatly been interesting balancing these things together. And children say they want to be adults.... Right. Lol.

INKED!
Yes, I really did it. I got a tattoo. AND.... I love it!!!! This tattoo shows everything I work for and is everything I love. The tattoo artist did the tattoo better than I had imagined and it was a cool process. And yes, it hurt! If you can't tell in the picture, the tattoo is on my ankle. I love this thing. it doesn't look it's best yet because obviously it's a bit swollen.

We ended up getting Three out of Four GRAND CHAMPIONED!!! It was so exciteing. Now we have to figure out who to show and the next show since they are championed and our babies won't be big enough. This Months Update
Well Prom was April 19th, and I went with some friends in a Limo and ate at Chillies'. Prom was pretty fun. I liked last years a little better though. After prom the limo took us home and everyone but one friend spent the night at Lisa's. We got in her hot tub, her parents had special food ready for us like chocolate covered straberries Icecream, aparkling cider with pomagranite sugar aon the rims of the glasses and more. They even made us breakfast the next morning. It was cool.
I turned 18 years old last Tuesday. We invited plenty of family and only grandma and grandpa came. It was kind of sad. Then I had to go sing at our distict concert that evening because our concert date got move up a week. Yuck. But I'm planning a b-day party for Memorial Day. So that should be fun.
We went to the Davenport rabbit show last weekend and did very well. One of my young junior rabbits is almost grand championed and rabbits that young having that happin is like 1 in 300 or so. So that was cool. Then I went to dance this evening and found out that my dance teacher quit and I don't have dance for a while until I find a new place or they find a new teacher. So I've been pretty busy.

Pick-Pockets
This weekend was our Windbornne and Band trip to Seattle. We went to a fun place called Bullwinkles and went swimming in the hotel. We did out Heritage Festival on Saturday and that night went to Tilicum Village. It wasn't at all as cool as I thought it would be. It was a bit of a let down.
Then on Sunday, someone in the Hotel pulled the fire alarm so those of us taking showers had to jump out still soapy, and in towls evacuate the building and those of us asleep (me) got a big wake-up call. FUN!
That day we went to Pike's Place Market and I was roaming around with one other friend, Lydia, and I got pick-pocketed and the cell phone my dad let me borrow was the object stolen. It was in my FRONT POCKET for petes sake! I was so upset and fet violated. Once I was calmed down, dad had to cancel his phone so it wouldn't be useable. The whole bus was just glad it was the cellphone and they still had me. I realized then that I was more loved by my group than I had thought. That robbery could have taken so many different turns for the worst. But I am ok.

The End of Break Update
Spring Break is now comming to a close. Today, being the last day of break, I took my dog Hooch jogging with me. it felt good to get out and stretch my legs. Our Windbornne trip is Friday through sunday so I'm hoping that will be fun. It usually is. And the weekend of the 19th is PROM. I once again don't have a date. I am going with some friends, but I am always hearing everyone around school talking about their dates and it gets me thinking "Why don't I have one?" I've asked a few guys and they all said no. SO here I am dateless. Oh well. It's not the end of the world after all.

Senior Boards
The Job is going good, but I have my senior board prsentation on wednesday at 8 am. It is such a stressfull thing. If you pass, great. If you fail, you try again and if you still don't make it for some reason, you don't graduate. I'm not worried about the failing part, it is just so hard to present everything they want and under 22 min. at that. I find it to be a stupid graduation requirement, but whatever. Once i'm done I won't have to worry about it and can laugh at my friends who still have to in April and May. Hehe.

We finally shoveled out the drive way, and with much work , shovled the berm and now mom can get out to try to go to work. When she tryed to get out the first time she got stuck from the tires just going on ice. but we finnaly got it and the snow is still falling. Practically 1 to 2 feet of snow on the roads and cars and i hope every one stays safe.
Uh oh, well power is officially out. :(
Good Luck!

Easy Going So Far
It is so nice to have a portable hardrive to put my picture files on so it doesn't bog down my laptop. The play I'm in now is going pretty well. Can't wait till next semester, I'll have more enjoyable classes. Hope fully I will have the chance to be in some type of community play, that would be fun to be doing that again.

Happy New Year!
Happy New Year! Hope everyone' s year is off to a good start so far. I stayed at a friends house and didn't go to bed till about 3:30 this morning. It was a blast! Not to thrilled about going back to school in two days though. And Grandma's cancer is so far so good or at least as good as can be expected as far as I know. But I do have a play opening soon. February 29th and March 1st, so that's exciting.
