The End!

I am so happy it is finally the end of this terrible year. I honestly hope next year is better so I can heal from the at least 4 deaths I faced this year. I have also started dancing again as I have not danced since mom died. it felt good, but I do ache a bit. Lizbeth is back in Maryland now and I already miss her. School starts back up this next Monday and I am really looking forward to this quarter. I am, however, a little nervous about it though for the fact that I don't really know what to expect from ASL I. But I'm sure it will be fine. If I like it enough I may just go into the interpreter program maybe next year. But who knows. Yesterday was my friend Marcy's birthday and today is my cousin Steven's birthday. So Happy Birthday Guys! Well I think that will do it for the last blog of the year. This is Rushele Provoncha signing off of 2009.

Christmas Week

Monday as I went in to try to finish last minute Christmas shopping, little did I know that dad and Annaliese lost Buddy the Golden Retriever puppy and were looking for him. They were sweet and didn't want to bother my shopping as it was the only time I could finish. Well I did finish for the most part and came home to get ready for work. As we were getting ready for closing, one of my old friends Brianna came in and asked us girls if anyone was missing a puppy. Me, still oblivious to the fact that Buddy was missing, recognized the sound of the puppy and asked dad if they were missing him. Sure enough, it was Buddy Brianna found. And untill dad got there to pick him up thankgoodness Chad came out to Medical Lake giving me a great suprise of visiting me again :) he held onto the pup for me. So now thank goodness he is safe at home. And I just seem to be awesome once again at finding missing dogs, EVEN when I no not that they are gone.
Then Yesterday, My Friends Lizbeth, Lisa, and my nieces Joanna and Kayla and I went ice skating at Riverfront park. It was so fun. We then warmed up by walking the mall a bit and headed over to Olive Garden for dinner. It was a very nice get together. Especially since Liz is only visiting this week from Maryland. After that, me and the nieces went to Northown Mall to look around and get that final present and we headed home exhausted. I was asleep by 10:30 or 11. (which, mind you is early for me when its break from school)
And today I got my car back from the shop and its running great! i Missed you car! Even if you were only gone for about 24 hours. Just started my long run of baking cookies and brownies. should be done tomorrow hopefully.

I DID IT! I PASSED MATH!

Last night Spokane and the surrounding areas got covered in a blanket of snow. So everyone be careful out there, it is slick. Today was awesome, when I entered the door there was Annaliese's Cute little Golden Retriever Puppy that bounced on me and he is sooooo cute! he is a bundle of joy. Then I checked my grades on the Internet and I found I did it! I finally passed Math 99! This made me so happy and relived that I cried tears of joy! My Christmas shopping is almost done and now I get to work and make money for the next 6 days straight. This is awesome. Liz gets to town today and soon we all get to go ice skating. This is turning out to be a great Christmas break.

Bandaids and the Wizarding World

After work today I bought some "Peanuts" bandaids, and they rock! I love character bandaids. i am happy to announce my finger is starting to feel better and not look so bad.
Also I looked up JK Rowling for kicks and giggles and found that they will be opening up a Harry Potter world at the Universal Orlando Resort in Florida next spring! it will include some roller coasters and shops straight from diagon alley and sweets from the books. How cool is that. I totally want to go.

Cut

School is now out for break till January 4th. Its nice and I finally started some of my minor Christmas shopping. I also accidentally cut myself good on a broken plate yesterday and it practically scooped out a nice chuck from my pinkie. It hurts and it has bled a lot but I will live. I'm pretty excited....i work lots of hours this coming week! So if people can't get hold of me that is where I am. Liz and Lydia will be up soon to visit so I am stoked for that!

Finals Week

Yesterday was Dead Day, so Chad and i hung out, and once I had eventually studied for my history final that was this morning, we went to Missy and Eric's to watch "How I Met Your Mother" and then we played Mario on the Wii. i want a Wii sooo bad. it was a lot of fun. I'm glad Chad talked me into going over seeing as i was worried about my final for today. I believe the final went ok and then I came home to study math. I took many short breaks and then finally had to head to work. Getting off later than I had hoped, I came home to write this and now will be continuing to review a little more. Geeze I hope I pass the math test tomorrow!

Got Cast!

So thanksgiving was pretty good. It was over at my Aunt Jan's and everyone was there. It turned out better than i thought it would have. Then I went and hung out with Missy, Eric, and Chad for the evening. I had to memorize my monologue for the Shakespeare auditions this last Monday. We will be doing an adaptation of Comedy of Errors. We had the call backs today and I am one of the twins wife, Adriana. The Jealous one, so this will be sooooo much fun. Our read through is tomorrow. Studying for my math final has been a pain, but i have till next Wednesday. Cross your fingers for me in hopes I can pass this class....finally.
Chad and I also went to see Underneath the Lintel. It's a one man show, and it was pretty good. We had a good time. Bravo Reed!

Sorry its been so long!

This last month has been crazy, i haven't had time to breath let alone update this thing. So our show dearly departed went well and i thank everyone who came and supported all of us. I also want to thank the cast and crew for being so awesome. It was great fun.

Next auditions are for Comedy of Errors by William Shakespeare. I am nervous and very excited. I am just so happy i have the holiday weekend to relax and catch up on studying that is so desperately needed. I am so tire from the quarter and i need a break. Holidays are a little iffy for me right now, but i will deal. It just takes time.

What a Week

The first weekend of October was Missy and Eric's bachelor/ette party (pardon my spelling) and it was a lot of fun. Then this last weekend was the wedding. October 9th was the wedding rehearsal, which seemed rushed but we survived, and then the rehearsal dinner at The Onion. It was soooo good. I love the deep fried oreos! Then I got up at 7:30 am Saturday to get my hair done at 8 but that didn't actually happen till 10. Once finished we still had two others getting their hair done. We got Missy into her dress, got pictures taken (awesome photographer by the way) had an amazing reception with food, dancing , and cake! and a great evening to follow.

The next day, Oct. 11th i woke up late but it was nice to sleep. It was also dads birthday and made it to home to the party. There was a good dinner, nice presents, and lots of crazy children running around. It pretty cold out and I am jealous of Eric and Missy for having a honey moon in Hawaii this week. Then today my phone broke so i am looking to have a new carrier and a cooler phone. so hopefully soon i will have a working phone again!

An Adventurous Day

Today I took Hooch to Petco to get a new name tag. We both then went to Liberty Lake to visit Chad and went on an adventure hike/walk. It was very hot and we forgot water, but it was still really fun. On the way back to the house i got soaked by a golf course sprinkler but was dry about three blocks later. By the time we made it back to Chads house we had been on the walk for about two and a half hours. We cooled off, got dehydrated and I took Hooch home. I then me Sarah for our coffee date which was a blast. We talked for about three hours about everything, anything, and nothing. Definately need to make sure we see eachother more often. But it was nice to get home. Today was wonderful.

Darn Dog!

Tuesday was my day off so naturally I stayed up till like 3am the night before knowing I could sleep in. Daisy-May, my beagle had another plan. After dad left for work she took off under a hole in out fence and dad noticed when he had come back home because he left his keys. He went looking for a time but had to get to work, so who was stuck looking for this nosey pooch, Me...at 8:30am. YUK! Yeah I looked for my pup till 1:30pm. The only way I found her was i took hooch for a walk to see if he would find her but I had a feeling we were just walking aimlessly. Turns out hes smarter than even I thought. He found her, and she was in some couples yard so she wouldn't get hit by a car. Dad and I went to get her a name tag and a harness since she could get out of her collar.

Then that night, dad and I went to eat at Applebees. It was so good and it was really funny because our server was totally hitting on me and dad started laughing because it was ridiculous. But it was fun anyways. And three other guys cleaned the table right next to me at least 6 times before dad said something to me. It was funny but all i was interested in was my delicious meal. it was a good day after all. got my dog back and had a good dinner. Nice!

Just a good day

Today in the mail I finally received my new Irish Claddagh ring! Its pretty and fits and now my finger doesn't feel naked without it. It totally made my day. I also got to talk to Lydia as she called me this evening. While I talked to Lydia, I had a bit of a scare with someone putting a bag of weed for the rabbits in my living room which was a little strange as it was in my house.I was upstairs so I didn't hear anyone. But it was probably just a friend. So all in all a good day at work and now just a good day!

Last few days

We have had some nice storms lately. I have also been a bit accident prone this week. I was getting ready for work and totally hit my elbow on the edge of the door jam so hard like two days ago and it still hurts. When it hurts to much I wrap it up. I'll tell ya, not easy to drive when its wrapped. Getting some new rabbit cages tomorrow with dad before I go to work. Should be kinda fun.

Bad Mix

At work yesterday it was cool because we got the most tips ever. The other two girls and I each got eleven bucks in tips! And seriously, If you have an over active imagination like me, do not watch scary stuff before driving home in the dark from someones house. Its just a bad idea lol.

I also wanted to ask everyone who prays, to pray for my friend Lisa who had a horse riding accident and has a swollen brain and for that swelling to go down, and also for my friend Liz's grandpa who is not doing so good. Thanks everyone for your strength.

Summer Storms

So I went to work today driving my Nissan which is for sale but remembered I left the Kia's window down and left a message for dad to put the window up for me as a storm was on its way in. So he did, but I didn't think about putting the window up on the Nissan and when I left work it was pouring rain and what did I find.... a puddle of water on my seat. Anyway, For those who really know me it was a normal day at work with me cutting my middle finger deep while doing dishes. Just wouldn't be a normal day at work if i didn't burn or cut myself LOL. Man I didn't know a finder could bleed so much. it ran down my hand. Ok I'll stop with the grossness. But yeah, nice summer storm going on right now.

Good-Bye Dinner

Last night, I went over to Jessica's to have a good-bye dinner for Lydia who left back to Mississippi this morning. It was fun. Her mom made spaghetti with her amazing sauce, and some of her step-dads friends came. They are newlyweds and Ruthy is from Norway. Jessica, Lydia, Sarah, and I Sang some of our old songs together again, but Lydia had to leave so she could get up early. Meanwhile Sarah, Jessica, and I stayed together a little longer. We went for a walk. It was a nice night out. Its was funny the things we remembered and how we all became friends and decided that we need to make a weekly coffee get together or something soon. This afternoon, I will be going to a 4-H BBQ which is kinda sad cause technically it is the last one for me. Then off to say happy birthday to Eric, hope he likes the gift I'm gonna give him.

Reminiscing

My little apartment is looking good, and summer is going great. Went to Silverwood with Lydia last week. Been working a lot, and thinking. And as everyone who knows me would agree, me thinking can be dangerous lol. Thinking about just everything, like when I got my nickname Roshowshowshow from Lydia's sister Hannah when I first met her, and even that is was by random fortune that i even met Lydia which in turn led me to Jen and Jessica and others, and how awesome I made mom's last day with cooking her mashed potatoes and steak then watching the movie Taken and eating Twinkies. I've also been remembering how even though this year has been the toughest for me all my friends have stuck with me and it makes me smile. Its wonderful to be able to think about the good times and because they make you feel good, you know that everything will be alright. I'm thankful for that strength, and I love you all. Its not only the big things we remember but the little things that count.

Vacation

Tuesday dad and I set out on a camping trip with the dogs. It was so nice to have this much needed vacation after the stressful month of June and the exhausting week of Hoopfest. I got nice and tan, swam in creek water that was between 35 and 40 degrees (wonderful), and fired a few rounds from dad gun into a can. It was nice and a little sad that it ended so soon. But still it's nice to be home and clean again. Now its time to start unpacking and converting the upstairs of the house into my personal apartment. Whoo!!

Hoopfest Week

I got to see my Aunt Junie on Fathers Day before she went back home to Florida. It was nice. Yesterday Dad and Annalise surprised me with a new digital camera and in my favorite color too! I love it, it takes such good pictures. Me and Missy and Amanda all went out yesterday to try on bridesmade dresses for Missy's wedding. Found one we all liked and it was the most inexpensive too! Jackpot! This week is also Hoopfest week which means I work a lot and work Hoopfest this weekend. Good money but the work kinda sucks since I'm still sick, but oh well.

Out for the Summer

Moms memorial went well. The animals are adjusting to life nicely and the kittens are getting big enough to need homes. I am almost better from being sick and I recommend everyone to go see the movie The Hangover. It was soooo funny! Didn't pass the math final so I get to try again and if I still don't pass then I have to take the math class over again. Boo. Anyways, hope everyone is enjoying the weather as much as I am with the sun and the awesome storms.

Michele K. Rubidoux

My Mom passed away Sunday June 7, 2009. We are having her memorial Saturday June 13th. I miss her so much. Now I am in the process of moving out of the appartment into my dads house. It is slow going, but its going all the same. I want to thank everyone for all the support and love.
Even with all that going on, I want to make sure everyone still knows to come to the drag show this thursday at 7:30 in blg. 15. I hope to see everyone there and bring lots of friends.

What a May!

So mom has had three chemo treatments now. Its rough going but it's going. Last week my car broke down again and needed a new starter, and lots of stuff readjusted. It was a mess. But thanks to Kirk, my best friend jessica's step-dad, my car is in working order again! Hole in the Sky opened tonight and I must say, I really liked it. Everyone should go. It runs through this weekend and next till the 7th at SFCC building 5. Drag show rehursals are going on as well, and is comming together well. It shows on June 11th at 7:30 for one night only, boys will be girls and girls will be boys! It will be a lot of fun!

My Birthday!

Yesterday was my 19th birthday! I invited a bunch of friends to the Shogun, and it was delicious. pictures were taken, presents exchanged and Dad got to meet my boyfriend. After that I was told to go to Missy's to hang out and when I got there, she had a cake for me. I really liked that seeing as I wasn't expecting to get a cake at all. It was cool. Then Kim brought my friend Jessica over and that was a nice surprise. We played a game and it got late. The rain was terrible but the day was a blast. I have to say it was probably my best birthday!

Yay!!!

Yay! Mom was released from the hospital today. She's doing ok, but not her best. Tomarrow is my 19th birthday and me and my friends are going to the Shogun! I'm excited. It sucks that i have a math quiz on my birthday but at least this chapter is sooo much easier. Can't wait till tomarrow!!!

Drag Show

So I auditioned for the drag show and I'm Bon Jovie and the indian for the Village People. Its totally awsome and I can't wait. And hopefully I won't be failing math soon.

Tomarrow it will be exactly one month till my 19th birthday! Woohoo! Hope everyone had a good Easter.

One Dollar Scratch Ticket

I didn't really have the best of days today and on top of that I didn't really want to be at work. We got some crazy rushes and by the time we closed the place was a disaster and I felt dirty and tired. All I wanted to do was go home take a shower and let the day end in sleep. But my two co-workers got me to travel to Denny's grocery store with them and I bought Red Vines while they spent tip money on a bunch of scratch tickets. I decided to join them and bought one $1.00 scratch ticket. I watched as they scratched away and then started in myself. I had to match three of the same amount to win. It turns out the I won $100! That's right, one hundred dollars and I had to show them to make sure. I was right and I freaked. I never thought I would win at a scratch game. It was a great ending to a busy day.

Life After Othello

Othello had an awesome run with an 8 out of 9 show standing ovation score. It was fun, but life returns to normal once again. Now its on to studying for finals and can't wait for spring break to start next week. though I feel I need a break, I will be working a good portion of break. But money is a good thing too, so that is ok by me.

The Life of Actors

In the life of an actor, one has little or no money, no time, and sleeps little. It is busy, hard, and full. Trail mix, and bags of pretzels and chips are the actors best friend. Yet we are the richest people in the world, not by wealth of money, but the prosperous fruits of friendships we develop. We are there for each other every step of the way and it takes everyone to make the script come to life.

Days and Counting

There is one week till opening night. The set looks sweet and tomarrow we are doing a dress rehursal infront of 150 high school students. I'm pretty stoked to have an audience to practice infront of. even more, I can't wait till we open! I am also finanly very close to being completely better from that rediculous cold. Woohoo!

Array

Much has happend lately. On Thursday my grandmother passed away, but is in a better place and is no longer suffering. It is a difficult thing to lose a loved one and a great person at that, but to know that you loved them so much and that they returned that love to you, it is an amazing feeling of peace knowing they are better now.

Today Missy, Venessa, and I all went to get our hair done. Missy got her red highlights, while Venessa died her hair a chocolate brown. I got my two tone blonde highlights and it looks pretty cool. It will deffinately take time to get use to it but it is very different. Our hair all turned out pretty cool and can't wait to see Missy's hair under the stage lights!

What a Month

This month has been a very stressful yet in some ways very insightful. Early mornings and long days have not been my friend lately and I feel I need a break. I have also recently realized some things about past relationships which helped me figure things out about myself. On the bright side I think Math will be ok and am pretty excited about getting my highlights next week. With all that is going on I feel confused, exhausted, frustrated, and ready to just have time to chill. Who knew a month could get so ridiculously chaotic.

Photo Shoot

Today we did the Othello photo shoot. It took about an hour and a half to do my hair because I have such thick hair and I love my outfits. There were six of us that were in the photo shoot, Andrew: Iago, Aaron: Othello, Me: Desdemona, Missy: Emilia, Cory: Cassio, and Bethany: Bianca. We looked cool. We did a few different poses and some costume changing. I really think this is going to be a great show, and we have a great cast who is not only talented but very hot!

Untameable

I have found that it is a bad idea to put my hair in curlers. I was testing it out because Bethany told me to do it for Wednesday's photo shoot so she would only have to do touch ups. I am definitely not doing that. I looked like and untameable poodle and the picture my mother took is for black mail lol. So she is just going to have to curl my hair by hand, which is not that difficult since she knows how to do hair. But curlers will not touch my hair again and is also the reason why i don't have a perm nor will anyone see pictures of my perm. At least I tested it and didn't wait till Tuesday night to do this. It would be terrible.

The Winter's Tale

I went to a Gonzaga play of Shakespeare's "The Winter's Tale" with some friends last night. It was definitely interesting. I didn't really know what was going on most of the time, but the bear coming though the cave wall was definitely the best part! I think Gonzaga could have put on a much better Shakespeare play than that though. Shakespeare is definitely hard to do but I think with all the work we are putting into "Othello", it will be a really good one. That is definitely saying something since I saw "Othello" a few years ago by a not-so-great group of actors and decided I didn't like it thinking that it was the story that sucked, but through experience now realizing it was the portrayal of the story that sucked. Now it has grown on me and I am determined to be a good Desdemona.

Dang

Well today was a little crazy. We accidentally burned one batch of bread then almost kinda burned another. Almost ran out of bread while waiting for it to cook. Got off later than I was supposed to. Realized that all of break I haven't seen any of my friends. Hmm... I wonder if they still exist... Of course they do, They are just busy like me:) Then walked the dogs, fed the rabbits, and found that college was cancelled due to the weather. But I'm happy it is because I need another day to unwind from the holidays.

Time

Sometimes I wish I was a vampire like in Twilight were I didn't need to sleep. There are just not enough hours in a day to complete my tasks. I have had some more Othello practices and have decided being the only girl at these few "over Break" practices are a bit scary. I swear those guys only "behave" when I'm around. It's hilarious. They are awsome. I am now freaking a tiny bit as I still have four long scenes to memorize and I am supposed to have them down by Monday at 1pm. Yikes! But then I'm not to awfully worried since I'm sure no one else has everything memorized as well.

I bought a corset today for my outfits for the play. I swear, corsets follow me EVERYWHERE! Don't they know I don't like them? I had found this fact out in Transcontinental. I do have to admit though, this one is prettier and a bit more comfortable. I still can't bend my waits in it though. :)

One thing I did however get done today was my necessary shopping. I Have recently been able to get back to dancing. You know you need to buy a size smaller in Jeans when you can pull down your pants without unbuttoning them. I really didn't think I had anything to lose but I guess so. Shirts were necessary as well seeing how I have had issues with ruining my shirts. I had between 5 and 8 shirts left. I guess that's what happens when you have a messy person like me trying to cook and then learn how to use a washing machine. Lets just say it doesn't go so well. Looking back on it is is kinda humorous though. I feel like an idiot.

I will have more updates on rehearsals and life in general as soon as I can get life back in "general" control.
