The PAX Convetion

Last week, Chad and I went on our trip to Seattle for the PAX convention. For those who may not know what that is, it's like a comic convention but for video and table top games. The idea was that we wanted to ride a train for once and so we bought tickets to go over to Seattle using the Bus, and on our way home on Monday we would ride the train. Well come Monday, Amtrak decided to cancel our train and made us wait three extra hours for a bus to take us home. Talk about the most angry Rushele. I still plan to write a huge complaint to Amtrak. But on the bright side Chad and I got to do all the cool stuff at PAX we wanted as well a fun concert on Saturday night. It was a very good trip.
Tuesday morning, I had a job interview for a school district who needed an interpreter. I didn't get the full time job but I am now the sub as well as the after school activities interpreter. So I feel that is a really good start so i can finally gain good experience that will help me move forward in the future.

Great Sunny Days

A few days ago, I was gardening a little in our raspberry bushes and my chicken decided to help me. She was right in my lap, Literally. I had to reach around her to continue pulling weeds. Then I would throw the weeds and tall grass to the pile and my Golden Retriever would jump over and bite the grass like he had to help kill it with me. It was so cute. I have awesome pets.

The job hunt continues. So far no bites on my resumes. That starts to become stressful since a job right now would be amazing. But hey, I'm hanging in there. Maybe I will get lucky soon.

And Lastly, I have started rehearsals on the next film I will be acting in. It's action packed and full of adventure. It is with the same director as Transcontinental and this one starts filming as the last one, finishes being edited. So for everyone inquiring about Transcontinental to me for the longest time, it will be done soon. No worries.

June Update

June 17th, I graduated from College with my Certificate of Completion in American Sign Language Interpreting. I still have some things to finish up this summer here an there but otherwise, I'm just trying to find work and strive for Certification now. Hopefully this fall I can finish my AA and then I will decide what to do from there. Two weeks ago, our Netherland Dwarf bunny had four beautiful little babies. and then last week our Polish had four beautiful babies as well. They are growing up so fast. They all have hair now and the first batch have their eyes and ears open finally. Dad and I went camping this week and on the way home stopped by to see some family we haven't seen for a while. It was fun and we got to catch up some. once home, we checked on the babies again and they grew so fast! I couldn't believe how quick they grew. before leaving for camping they were all blind and deaf and now they have their eyes open and their ears open. So cute.

Time to Relax a Bit

Spring Break is coming to and end and man did it feel good to not have to do anything or think about a whole lot during this time. I really needed it. I've been exercising more and it feels great. Chad's birthday is coming up in the next week which means my 21st birthday is coming very soon after. My birthday day will be fun with my friends especially since its on a Friday. I will then have the party where family is invited on that Sunday. Its going to be fun. This will also be my last quarter of my Interpreter Training Program and then I will be very near to finishing my AA as well. Getting to be an exciting yet busy time of year!

Go 2011!

It is only the third week of January and so much has already happened. I won't go into specifics, but I'm just gonna say that I will only surround myself with friends and family I feel act the way I want to act and be the kind of people I want to be. Also for school, its really stressful, but I am making HUGE strides in my career field. I am so excited for it. As my teachers say, "Feel The Fear And Do It Anyways" or "That's not fear, that excitement, [I just might not know it yet]". Its going great so far though. This year really does seem very promising. YAY!

Wow factor

Really, They have to be so ridiculous to decide that "Hmmm the sun and such has moved so instead of tweaking the dates a little with the original accepted 12 zodiac signs we're gonna just decide that we are just going to fit in a 13th sign instead and piss everyone off" Great idea Mr. Scientist Guy. You now have few friends. I am stubborn just like MY zodiac sign says so I won't accept this new sign system. Just a fact of life. The old system stays. I guess some are trying to say that its only those who were born after 2009 that the new sign effects, but really, that just makes a mess. So lets all just carry on our merry way and be done with it already.

That's my soap box.

The New Year

Happy New Year! Well, lets hope it is anyways. My car lights are acting strange right now, my outlets in just my room are out for some reason, and lets just say everything today has been a little strange. And more information that is really weird has come to my attention this week that for now I am just going to pretend didn't happen for a little while.

School has now started up again and I am still in the Interpreting Program which means I passed last quarters classes!! Yay! Play practice for Richard III is on its way and we are already making terrific progress. Getting stress under control, which also means getting my temper under control is a bit hard since it was just the first week of classes. Lets hope everything goes well :)
