I may be young still, but I do remember a time when cell phones were built like destructible bricks. You could drop them, throw them, or (sometimes even) drop them in a puddle and it would still work. I myself do not have luck with phones. I really think it is just me vs. technology actually. Take cars for example.
In high school, I was on such high honors that I was chosen to receive a new car. The idea behind it was that I would have reliable transportation to and from college the next year. Well, I must say that even though it had been my favorite car still to this day, it was a piece of rusted, oil leaking,O-M-G-Something-Used-to-Live-In-Here kind of junk car. It was a 1984 model (ha new, New-To-Me car) and man had it lived hard in someones pasture. Anyways, obviously I used it till I could get a better running car. Which happened to lead me to owning 3 more cars up to right now. So yes, I have owned 4 junk cars in the last 6 years. Ridiculous, I know. Only one car problem was partly my fault. The rest came that way.
Computers and laptops hate me as well. I always do something and they yell at me and my laptop even fried. It became unusable right when I needed it the most for college. Of course, right. So now we know cars, computers, and cell phones all dislike me. I don't give up though. Its a battle forever.
So what happened to my cell phone. Well, its a good thing Best Buy has the best ever protection service for phones cuz they always help me. Two years ago, I bought a new smart phone and the thing that makes the phone screen flip for hotdog or hamburger direction for viewing broke while in the hamburger way. So I was unable to actually use my phone except for videos. So I sent it in to get it repaired. I had only had that phone for a week when that happened. This time I have had my phone for little over a month and the vibration motor inside that allows it to vibrate stopped working. Of course I realize this when my phone should be on vibrate and my boss is trying to get a hold of me to inform me of something and my phone doesn't do a thing. So I almost miss what's happening. I hope of course that it is an easy fix, but now they have to send it in to fix it and my type of phone is on back order. If they can't get my Galaxy S III to me in fourteen days, they have to give me the Galaxy S IV to me for free. Really it is a win-win situation. Hopefully nothing happens to this next one.

What A Wonderful Summer Week
This week has definitely felt like summer. It has been nice and hot, just how I like it, and time spent with some of my favorite people.
This week started with a Sunday to Monday camping trip with Chad and myself taking Mack our Blue Heeler camping for the first time. He had so much fun! In the morning, we let Mack out of the tent to go poddy while chad and I got ready for the day. Mack was fine for about 6-8 min before something (probably a deer) scared him so bad he almost broke out tent to get back in with us and as we emerged from our tent he peed himself. It was funny in a pitiful way. He was fine though after that. We played in the creek which was so cold it felt marvelous. We were all so exhausted after that trip.
Then on Wednesday, I went and got coffee with my friend Jessica to catch up a bit. We couldn't believe how we had been off and on trying to make a date and time to catch up for about 1 year. So we agreed it was definitely time to do it. We are going to try not to let time slip away from us like that again if we can help it.
Then on Friday, yesterday, Chad and I went to Deer Lake with my friend Brooke to swim and have a blast! Once finished there, myself and Chad went to Colville to see the Drive-In movie theater since neither of us had done that before. Sadly our only drive-in theater is going to shut down about Labor Day weekend due to a lack of funds to update their systems for the technology. It was a wonderful double feature. We watched "Epic" which was really good and I loved it even though I wasn't sure I would. Turns out the only problem with this movie seems to be the title. If you have a title that doesn't match the movie content, you movie will fail in theaters. The second movie was "Man of Steal" which the fight scenes were good and the music was wonderful but there were some serious story flaws and bad character development. I mean really, Mr. Kent was not a hard ass mean, guilting father. He was careful and encouraging. You shouldn't want to hope that that character dies but this time you really wanted it to happen. And if you write a history in the beginning to explain how something should work and then you break that rule later with no explanation, you get really confused. But other than that it was a good move.
All in all we really enjoyed ourselves this week and I am so fortunate to have such wonderful friends.
