Weddings Galore

Today was the day we sent in our contract and our money to book our wedding venue. It is pretty exciting to say the least. That pressure is off our shoulders for now. I want to do some fun things for the wedding but since our wedding isn't till next August, there really isn't much to do until we start looking at the next vendors we need to book.

Before we do that, we have a lot of other peoples wedding stuff to do. October is going to be busy. We start with next Saturday's bridal fair that Chad and I will go to and then the weekend after is my friend Jessica's bachelorette party and then the weekend after that is Jessica and Preston's wedding day. The weekend after that Chad and I will be going to Bellingham for Taryn and Will's wedding. We will be taking lots of pictures, not only for the lovely couples but for us to have an ideas of what we like and want to incorporate into our day. It is gonna be a crazy wedding month but it should be lots of fun!

This Summer So Far

This summer, Chad and I went to Mount St. Helen's for some much needed camping fun and relaxation. what I didn't realized was that on that trip, Chad was going to propose to me in front of the most beautiful, closet spot in front of Mount St. Helen's. He was so awesome. We were looking out into the beauty of it all, when Chad decided to pull me into his side a little closer and whispered, "Hey Shele." I whispered back "What" and he pulled out the prettiest Black Diamond ring from his pocket and asked " will you marry me" and thank goodness I was wear his sun glasses to hid the mess of happy tears, I hugged him and then put on the ring and then remembered I should probably give my answer of "YES" verbally. It was great. That was June 23, 2014.












`Then, today, Chad and I went to the Spokane Highland Games at the fair grounds. It was hot but it was fun. I bought and Irish knife and looked at all the Scottish clan stuff. We watched some of the competitions and listened to bag pipes. It was very fun.
