Pretty Soon

Tomarrow it will be exactly one month till my 19th birthday! Woohoo! Hope everyone had a good Easter.

One Dollar Scratch Ticket

I didn't really have the best of days today and on top of that I didn't really want to be at work. We got some crazy rushes and by the time we closed the place was a disaster and I felt dirty and tired. All I wanted to do was go home take a shower and let the day end in sleep. But my two co-workers got me to travel to Denny's grocery store with them and I bought Red Vines while they spent tip money on a bunch of scratch tickets. I decided to join them and bought one $1.00 scratch ticket. I watched as they scratched away and then started in myself. I had to match three of the same amount to win. It turns out the I won $100! That's right, one hundred dollars and I had to show them to make sure. I was right and I freaked. I never thought I would win at a scratch game. It was a great ending to a busy day.

Life After Othello

Othello had an awesome run with an 8 out of 9 show standing ovation score. It was fun, but life returns to normal once again. Now its on to studying for finals and can't wait for spring break to start next week. though I feel I need a break, I will be working a good portion of break. But money is a good thing too, so that is ok by me.

The Life of Actors

In the life of an actor, one has little or no money, no time, and sleeps little. It is busy, hard, and full. Trail mix, and bags of pretzels and chips are the actors best friend. Yet we are the richest people in the world, not by wealth of money, but the prosperous fruits of friendships we develop. We are there for each other every step of the way and it takes everyone to make the script come to life.

Days and Counting

There is one week till opening night. The set looks sweet and tomarrow we are doing a dress rehursal infront of 150 high school students. I'm pretty stoked to have an audience to practice infront of. even more, I can't wait till we open! I am also finanly very close to being completely better from that rediculous cold. Woohoo!

Array

Much has happend lately. On Thursday my grandmother passed away, but is in a better place and is no longer suffering. It is a difficult thing to lose a loved one and a great person at that, but to know that you loved them so much and that they returned that love to you, it is an amazing feeling of peace knowing they are better now.

Today Missy, Venessa, and I all went to get our hair done. Missy got her red highlights, while Venessa died her hair a chocolate brown. I got my two tone blonde highlights and it looks pretty cool. It will deffinately take time to get use to it but it is very different. Our hair all turned out pretty cool and can't wait to see Missy's hair under the stage lights!

What a Month

This month has been a very stressful yet in some ways very insightful. Early mornings and long days have not been my friend lately and I feel I need a break. I have also recently realized some things about past relationships which helped me figure things out about myself. On the bright side I think Math will be ok and am pretty excited about getting my highlights next week. With all that is going on I feel confused, exhausted, frustrated, and ready to just have time to chill. Who knew a month could get so ridiculously chaotic.
