My month had its ups and downs. After I got the part of desdemona, I also learned one of my friends, Victor Norman, had and accident and died. My friend Summer came up so we could go to his memorial together. There were to many people there. It was cool. Oh and for the record everyone here is the brief story on how he died so that the rumors can stop. He triped and fell and hit his head. Not long after he started complaining of a headache and was bleeding from his ear. when he finnaly go to the hospital he had blood on the brain and his brain drowned and he died. Anyways, someone is alive today because of him being and organ donor.
As for the rest of the month we have had continual snowstorms out and my car broke down. We have recently gotten it fixed and also Summers flight had been cancelled do to the weather and finally made it home Dec. 22nd. Christmas was very nice, and got many wonderful gifts and spent lots of time with family. I hope everyone had a good christmas!

Desdemona!
We had call backs on Monday and I was there. We were reading parts and dancing and all sorts of fun stuff. Then I totally mastered the death scene for Desdemona between her and Othello and guess what.... I GOT THE PART OF DESDEMONA!!!!!!! I am now the leading lady in "Othello".
We had our first read through together with the cast yesterday and we were dissecting the words and cutting certain lines because they were unnecessary or just repeating and was going to get boring for the audience. Then we would read the translated side of our script through one scene and go back and re read that scene with the Shakespeare side. It was a long, hard but needed ordeal. We only got through Act 1 scene 3 and tomorrow will start with Act 2 scene 1 and do that all over again. Don't get me wrong though. I am still having a blast with this and am really happy I'm a part of this. We open March 5th. I will give more details as time progresses.

Shakespearean Twilight
I have been a busy girl. I am now almost done with reading the second book in the Twilight series and I'll tell you what, the second book is depressing most of the way through. Blah. Anyways, I took my mom to dinner and then we went to see the movie Twilight Saturday evening and it was absolutely amazing in all respects. I want to go see it again! Also I have been auditioning for SFCC's next play Othello and so far I am one of the few to be called back to try for one of the three roles in this play. So far I am one of two favorite choices for Desdemona! Isn't that exciting!!! I have a really powerful cold read today and really mad points their. Lets hope I can keep it up. Crazy to think that I of all people would audition for Shakespeare. :) This will be amazing. Hope everyone has a great Thanksgiving!

Registration
Today was the day to start signing up for winter registration. I sat there for and hour and a half waiting for them to call my name so that I could get help with my schedule because all the classes I want/need were practically at the same time. It took them like five minutes to sort it out and now my schedule is done. YIPPEE! AND I get to sleep in since I won't start class till 9:30 am. Sweetness. Sleep is good, sleep is my friend. I don't get time to do it enough. I do however have to take two P.E. courses to get enough credits to still qualify for financial aid since those classes only earn you one credit. :( But anyways, its looking good and i can relax a bit now. Oh and I have another audition coming up Nov.30 through Dec. 2! YAY!!!!

Wow!
I am reading the book "Twilight" and am in total love with it. It really is amazing. I can't wait till the movie comes out. I really like the guy playing Edward Cullen and know he will be great. I also found found that he has the same birthday as me; May 13. Isn't that sweet! I love it when I find and actor or director I like that has the same birthday as me.

What a Month!
I don't know where October went. Well my play Alice the musical ended october 26th. That day we had huge crowds. It was really good. It was real sad when we all said good-bye to eachother but thats what happens in plays. My college midterms were last week and soon it will be time for the finals. My friend Lydia will be back from Mississippi to visit for Christmas time and I can't wait to see her. My friends and I are well overdue for some friendship hangout time. We've all been so busy that none of us have been able to hang out lately. I will be putting up Alice pictures soon, which I should be getting more of, soon hopefully. Then tomarrow night I will try to post about halloween. Too much to post and not enough time to do it in. Yikes!
